Brown University reports an active shooter situation on campus
There are no confirmed details yet about any injuries.

Brown University notified students about a reported active shooter on campus on Saturday.
"There is an active shooter near Barus & Holley Engineering," the university said in an emergency alert issued around 4:20 p.m.
"Lock doors, silence phones, and stay hidden until further notice," the alert cautioned.
Early updates indicated a suspect had been placed in custody, but a subsequent post reversed that information, stating: "Police do not have a suspect in custody and continue to search for suspect(s)."
Around 5:30 p.m., Brown officials issued another update noting a report of shots fired near Governor Street.
At this time, it is not yet known whether anyone was wounded or what their condition might be.
